The FIRE HALF MARATHON 2026 is the inaugural half marathon organized by the Department of Fire Service & Civil Defence, Bangladesh, bringing together students, youth, veterans, professional runners, and people from all walks of life to celebrate an active, healthy, and positive lifestyle.

With years of experience, expertise, discipline, and commitment to public service, the Department of Fire Service & Civil Defence is stepping into the running community for the first time with FIRE HALF MARATHON 2026.

This event celebrates life, fitness, endurance, courage, resilience, awareness and community spirit, while providing runners from Bangladesh and abroad an opportunity to participate in a professionally organized road race.

• The event is open to runners from Bangladesh and abroad.

• Finisher medals will be awarded only to participants who complete their respective race within the official cut-off time.

• This is a live, physical event only. No Virtual Run option is available.

• BIB transfer is not permitted.

• Registration fees are non-refundable.

• In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the event date may be changed. Registration fees will not be refunded in such circumstances.

• The event schedule may be changed due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Participants with existing physical ailments or conditions that may affect their ability to participate are advised not to take part without appropriate medical clearance.

• Participants are responsible for assessing their own fitness and readiness for the race.
